The consultation takes an hour and is an essential step to a successful outcome. Clients are asked to be open and honest and are assured that all information, within limits, is strictly confidential.*
Fiona will outline specific goals to facilitate a positive change. Unwanted feelings, behaviours and emotions are identified; the scale of these unwanted and negative behaviours are closely monitored on a week-to-week basis.
Depending on the nature of the issue, a number of appointments are then scheduled; an average of three to six sessions is usually required but results can sometimes be seen in less. On completion of successful therapy, it can be useful for clients to avail of monthly maintenance sessions.
All clients are asked to listen to an audio download (which is provided as part of the therapy) for at least 66 days and longer if they wish. This is really important back-up to the sessions. Self-hypnosis techniques such as auto suggestion are taught to the client to make the shift permanent. This includes positive affirmations that the client has discovered on their journey. Successful case studies show that clients who persistently use these techniques ensure the shifts become permanent and automatic.
* All of the information the client provides is kept in confidence; apart from any reports of physical or sexual abuse to children and adults. This is covered under The Protection of Persons Reporting Child Abuse Act 1998.
