Attitude #3 for a Merry Christmas - Soak in the Micro-Moments of Love

Many of us fuss over the minutest details at Christmas, like the decor of the dinner table for example. Now, while I do love a beautifully dressed table, what is far more important to me and I imagine to most people is a loving, calm and joyful atmosphere. 

Consider the level of detail, attention and focus that goes into something like planning the Christmas dinner menu and then imagine giving this same level of focus to soaking up the micro-moments of love you experience with family and friends. I often feel the frantic nature of Christmas and gift buying is our way of showing love. However, the desire to find the perfect gift overrides our ability to stay present for that person. I am guilty of this for sure!

This year for those of us fortunate enough to have a family to spend time with, please do pause and soak in those tiny moments of love among the busyness of Christmas.
