About Niamh Orbinski

Niamh Orbinski is  nutritionist, certified intuitive eating counsellor, psychotherapist, author and yoga teacher.

She works at the intersection of nutrition, psychotherapy and body-image healing helping people shift away from dieting culture, reconnect with their bodies and internal cues, and rebuild healthier relationships with food, movement and their self-image — all within a compassionate, weight-inclusive framework. Her book (No Apologies: A Guilt‑Free Guide to Ditching Diet Culture and Rebuilding Your Relationship with Food), counselling programmes, workshops and classes extend this approach into practical support. Niamh’s approach is weight-inclusive (aligned with the Health at Every Size or HAES philosophy): she emphasises health-promoting behaviours regardless of weight outcomes.

She challenges the conventional weight-loss paradigm: pointing out that dieting fails most people in the long term, and that health is far more than the number on the scales and offers a compassionate, inclusive space for people to heal their relationship with food and body — not with shame, but with curiosity and self-kindness.
