Any Questions?
*Cold Water Plunge
Participants in the cold plunge challenge must adhere to the following conditions:
-
Cardiovascular Issues, Obesity, or Diabetes: Individuals with a medical history of heart disease, low or high blood pressure, circulatory problems, or diabetes should abstain from participating or consult a physician beforehand. Heat stress can increase cardiac output and blood flow, which may affect heart rate. Medications such as diuretics, barbiturates, and beta-blockers may impair the body’s natural heat loss mechanisms.
-
Elderly: Older participants must consider decreased ability to maintain core body temperature due to circulatory conditions and decreased sweat gland function. Cold water temperatures will be lower and sessions should not exceed 15 minutes.
-
Fever & Flu: Participants with flu symptoms, fever, or sensitivity to cold temperatures should avoid the cold water plunge.
-
Pregnancy & Menstruation: Pregnant women and individuals experiencing menstruation should consult a physician before participating as it may impact health conditions.
Joint Injury & Implants: Participants with joint injuries or surgical implants should consult their physician regarding participation. Participants must take full responsibility for their participation in the cold water plunge and assume all associated risks. They agree to discontinue the practice immediately if discomfort or pain occurs during the session and consult a physician if concerned about health implications.
"Do I need to come with someone?”
Not at all. Many guests attend on their own. The retreat is designed around shared experiences and gentle group connection, so solo guests feel at home very quickly. You’re welcome to come with someone if you wish, but you’ll never feel alone if you don’t.
“Is this retreat suitable if I’m new to wellness/yoga / meditation?”
Yes. Everything is accessible and adaptable. No prior experience is needed — just an openness to rest, reflect, and take positive steps for your wellbeing.
“What is the group size?”
We keep the group intentionally small to ensure a relaxed, personal, and supportive atmosphere while still enjoying the energy of shared experience.
“What type of people usually attend?”
Our guests come from a range of backgrounds and life stages, but all share a desire to live more well — with greater balance, calm, connection, and vitality.
“Will there be free time?”
Yes. While the retreat is gently structured, there is ample free time to rest, reflect, take a stroll in the grounds or simply be.
“What happens after the retreat?”
You’ll leave with practical tools, habits, and insights you can take into daily life, along with optional continued group support to help you integrate what you’ve learned.
