Light Up 2022!

Using the six pathways of the five-star Positive Habit Programme:

coupled with the 6 pillars of lifestyle medicine:

1. Sleep
2. Exercise/movement
3. Stress management 
4. Nutrition
5. Avoidance of risky substances 
6. Relationships & belonging

and immersed in the beautiful, natural, sun-kissed environment of Crete, you will rediscover your own internal, precious, and most certainly unique light.

On day one you will choose one OLD belief/issue you wish to clear and one NEW belief you wish to embrace. For example, “I am not good enough” or “I am an anxious person” to “I am proud of who I am” or “I am a calmer person now.”

Each member of the small group (a total of fifteen guests) is integral to the collective success of the experience. The program is designed to bring out the best in you and each member of the community. Each day we will follow a structure that also allows for progress, learnings and rest, and reflection.  The group are like spokes in a wheel – we need to work together, to support one another in order to make progress, and to reach our optimum levels of health & happiness.

Day 1: Discovery: The SUN is our inspiration.

  • Clarity on WHY you are here and what lights you up! 
  • Helping the rest of the group to get their clarity. 
  • Share your one old belief you wish to be free from and the one new one you wish to embrace.
  • Focus on sleep. 

Day 2: Love – The SKY is Our inspiration 

  • Cultivate unconditional and limitless love for yourself and others. 
  • Explore what the blocks are to you loving yourself fully. 
  • Shadow work – explore the dark & golden shadow parts of yourself.
  • Focus on exercise. 

Day 3: Care – The SEA is our inspiration 

  • How to honor your body and mind in a practical way. 
  • Assess your daily habits. 
  • What are the consequences of not taking care of yourself?
  • Focus on nutrition.  

Afternoon excursion to Balos.

Day 4: Happiness – The WIND is our inspiration

  • Exploring happiness and flexibility. 
  • Opening your heart so that it is not attached to outcomes or pleasure. 
  • Finding the courage to be happy and flourishing in an uncertain world.
  • Focus on stress management. 

Day 5: Compassion – The MOON is our inspiration 

  • Self-Compassion.
  • Compassion-based resilience.
  • Compassion in your relationships.
  • Focus on avoiding alcohol & risky substances.

Evening trip to Chania. 

Day 6: Success –  The STARS are our inspiration

  • Getting clarity on what success means to you.
  • Final farewell to old belief & reinforcement of new one. 
  • Finding the courage to light up your world.
  • Focus on forming close relationships.
