Training Overview
The Positive Habit is a 6-week program (if you include the Introduction and Conclusion) that guides you through adopting a positive mindset. The course has helped thousands of people of all ages and from all walks of life feel empowered to reach their full potential; to find the positive in every situation, even stressful and challenging ones; to use practical techniques to deal with stress and negative thinking and to enjoy peaceful and harmonious relationships with those they love.
The training includes 8 pre-recorded video lessons spaced over 6 weeks, plus self-assessments, reading material and of course the powerful hypnotherapy audios which are an integral and crucial part of the course.
Students should plan to spend about 60 minues per week absorbing the course content plus an additional 20 minutes to listen to the hypnotherapy audios.
Module 1: Your Subconscious Power
In the introduction, this pathway (module) to positivity explains the power of the subconscious mind. It also covers the importance of a positive mindset, habit formation, neuroplasticity, epigenetics and conscious and subconsious support systems.
Module 2: Discovery
In this pathway (module) we learn about self-discovery and self-knowledge and why it is so important in establishing the positive habit. Using the Positive Pause Technique will allow you to link back to positive times in the past so that you can regulate your present state and avoid becoming reactive. Developing the power of your imagination is also explored as a mechanism for implementing how you wish to think, feel and behave every day. This module also explores coping strategies that you may have learnt in the past and asks if they are still serving you now. Learn to take control of your thoughts, feelings and indeed your life.
Module 3: Love
In this pathway (module) we learn about the importance of love and self-love in creating positive neural pathways. It is important to link the habit of positivity into an already established habit in order to reap the rewards. Fiona stresses that consistency and repetition are important in habit formation. Using positive affirmations and becoming a positive parent to yourself are examined and how to make positivity your default setting.
Module 4: Care
This pathway (module) looks at self-care and identifying what you need to be your best self, to create joy, health and abundance in your life. It examines why self-care is not selfish; we need to care first for ourselves in order to care for others. This pathway is very practical and also explores your relationship with time and how to carve out time for yourself in order that you thrive and create abundance.
Module 5: Happiness
This pathway (module) focuses in creating joy in your life, trusting in your ability to be happy. An important part of this self-awareness lies in acknowledging progress. The power of imagination and visualisation is explored in the creation of happiness. Mirror work and affirmations build strong foundations for happiness to thrive.
Module 6: Compassion
Cultivating compassion for yourself and everyone you meet is a learned skill. Fiona shows how to make compassion a habit. Spirituality and emotional stability are also addressed. Energy both positive and negative are examined and learning to pause rather than reacting will help you ensure you don’t get caught up in needless conflict and help to nurture compassion.
Module 7: Success
Success is an abundance of all good things including awareness, physical and mental health, loving relationships, joy and the ability to empathise with others. Having these allow you to realise financial and material success also. Being aware of your goals, finding your true purpose, understanding, accepting, letting go of past belief systems that block you are also examined. Martin Seligman’s PERMA model is useful in helping to identify the areas we need to develop in order to flourish. Fiona looks at the use of a vision board which works on a subconscious level. She also discusses letting go of attachment and perceived failure as blocks to success.
Module 8: Conclusion
In this final module Fiona explains how to interpret the results of the positive feelings survey which you will have completed at the end of each module in the course. She looks at how to maintain your positive shift and provideds a number of technique and suggestions.
